Cheap And Hearty Street Food in Bangkok

Hearty Street Food In Bangkok

Won Tan Mee & Crispy Egg Roll ( Infront of Ritz Carlton Residence Main Entrance)

As you all may know, Bangkok is really famous for its street food. We came across this small cart selling Wan Ton noodles by the roadside just across where we were staying. We saw mostly locals having their breakfast there before heading to work.

This bowl of Wan Ton noodles cost 50baht and look at the amount of char siew and wantons given. The noodles were springy and the broth was flavorful. Taste slightly different from our Malaysian Wan Ton noodles in terms of the depth of flavors. The broth tasted more MSG-ish compared to what we are used to eating in Malaysia.

Besides, there is this small stall in front of 7 – Eleven ( located slightly further from the Wan Ton noodles stall) selling Crispy Egg Roll. This crispy egg roll filled with sausage only cost us 10 Baht. The crispy egg roll was sweet and savoury which is very nice.

Address: 14 Naradhiwat Rajanagarindra Rd, Khwaeng Silom, Khet Bang Rak, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10500, Thailand.( Infront of Ritz Carlton Residence Main Entrance)
