Lek Seafood – Chong Nonsi BTS Station

SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN A SMALL ALLEY

Tucked in a small alley directly opposite Mahanakhon King Power Building in Bangkok is Lek Seafood. It is one of Bangkok’s simple, humble and local place to get some Thai dishes which specializes in seafood, as the name suggests.

The prices here are slightly above average (comparing to those roadside Thai restaurants) but nevertheless it’s flavorful authentic Thai dishes makes every penny worth it.The seafood curry , Squid,Pork Neck and Tom Yam Gong cost around 150baht~350baht.

One of the dishes we thoroughly enjoyed is the curry seafood. We highly recommend you to try this amazing curry seafood when you are here.A mix of seafood such as crab meat, squid, prawns all stirred fried with a curry gravy. A really tasty dish especially when eaten with rice.

Their grilled pork neck, looks simple yet flavorful with their dipping sauce.

Grilled white squid. The squid tasted really tender but yet still juicy, really delicious when dipped into their chilli sauce that comes with it.

Crab with Glass Noodles(Tang Hoon)
It is cooked and served in a claypot, a dish consisting of crab, glass noodles cooked in a delicious mix of ginger, garlic and peppercorn sauce.

A dish we thought is a must whenever in Thailand is Tom Yum Goong. We chose the seafood option that came witb prawns and squid. While it is not a mind blowing dish, it is still a decent tom yum soup with hints of sourness and a kick of spiciness.
